Hee. It's a favorite, not the favorite, but one of the things I really appreciated about Azumanga Daioh is the way that it really stuck to the formula of cute girls doing cute things, and didn't try to introduce anything more than that. The stakes were never anything more than "will they make it through this situation?"

It is something that is canon, but it something that I would have wanted much, much earlier on, would have been for both Adora and Catra and Korra and Asami to have their confessions of feelings and their displays of affection. We know why it always seems to take so long, but they really could have done much better with kissing each other earlier!
