Why do you write?
I write often because I have some specific idea that I don't see people writing them. They just need to be written, my mind says. So I comply. I also like write to prompt. Someone has an idea and I can develop it. It makes me happy. The built-in audience doesn't hurt.
What piece of writing are you most proud of?
The Tale of Young Iron Fist from Kun Lun.It's fun to write, fun to read, and I love the characters. It also makes me want to write a sequel to it, which seldom happens.
How often do you write? Do you have any writing rituals? Say, certain locations, beverages, background music, times of day, target word counts, etc.?
It comes and goes. I try to keep the discipline of writing to a certain goal, but some days is harder than other.
How much of the story do you know before you start writing it? Do you use outlines?
I usually know the beginning and ending. For some reasons, my story goes out of control despite my outline, so you can say I don't use outline often.
What tools do you use to write? Audio recordings, pen and paper, computer software, other methods, some mixture thereof?
