Recently I'm need of writing inspiration, so I'm playing solo tabletop RPG. Both are very good (and free).
80 Year Old Spy (Free) is a journalling tabletop RPG that you experience the career of a spy, navigating through a web of secrets and betrayals. It has a similar mechanic to "Thousand Year Old Vampire", in which you follow prompts to write a journal about a vampire. The vibe is very John le Carre, which your first decision has to do with betrayal and cost of missions. It is more fast paced than the Thousand Year Old Vampire, as it's easier for you to lose everything in that game. My character gets betrayed, loses everything (including their principle) and crashes and burns in recorded time.
Help! I Have a Crush on My Rival?! (Free): It's a journalling TRPG about the developing relationship between your character and their rival/crush. It's based on the Carta system, but choose to use cards to explore the metaphorical ups and downs of a relationship between two people. It's very flexible to decide on what the world and the characters are like. I set my game in a Roadside Picnic inspired setting, in which my MC and the rival are forced to work together to survive in the quarantined zone together. It's really fun.
