The 30 Days fanfic writing meme and links
Jun. 20th, 2011 09:59 am1. How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?
The first time I write fanfic is for Yuletide, because it seems to be a challenge that everyone should join just for the experience. I've been reading fanfic longer than writing it, but I was always in a large fandom that I'm very satisfied with what I can read. Until I'm in Steve/Tony fandom, where there're simply not enough for me to read. When I see an intriguing prompt and I want to write my spin on it, well, there's the history.
2. Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
Marvel comics: 52
Disney: 13
Stargate: Atlantis: 2
Antique Bakery: 2
Kyou Kara Maou!: 2
And there're a lot of misc. fandoms I write in. I still write in Marvel comics fandom.
3 – For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
Marvel comics: Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, Storm, Luke Cage.
Disney: Belle and Esmeralda
Stargate: Atlantis: Teyla
Antique Bakery: Eji and Ono
Kyou Kara Maou!: Conrad and Yuuri
4. Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?
No.
