Currently I am helping to digitize old photo albums from 1970s. More than a third are stored in magnetic albums, which cardboard pages grip photos on a sticky, adhesive coating, covered by a layer of plastic that is peeled back to position photos. However, I only know about the danger recently. It's sadly hard to move the photoes to newer photo albums because they are of different sizes, so I'm going to find tissue wrap to at least give the old photos covers
