I want to start writing again, and this sounds like an interesting challenge to come up with brief story outlines in a month: 30 stories in a month challenge
Day 1:
Just before execution, a doctor is saved and recruited by a dimension travelling agency and works on a medical team that travels across time periods and worlds.
During investigation of a plague, the doctor discovers that an enemy from the past might play a pivotal role in the plague.
Working with their teammates and local medical staff, the doctor foils the rival's scheme, but discovering that there is something bigger.
