The 30-Stories in a Month Challenge: Day 3

 Scrag the orc barbarian learns everything from his horrible mentor (a confidence artist who should rot in the jail forever). Now as a respected politician, he thought he had put his past behind him when his future is threatened.

The election is coming, but while Scrag was trying to earn support  by insulating himself in others' life, he was threatened to have his criminal past exposed. Moreover, there was news of a coming attack.

With his knowledge of people (often underrated because of his class) and the help of his loyal best friend Kalag the sorcerer, Scrag is able to achieve victory.
