snowynightSCU: Trial and Terror
Premise: There are things beyond reason. Horrible things. They dwell by the side of humans and prey on them. That is why SCU is formed, to combat the supernatural threat to our country. The characters in SCU are all secret government agents trained to deal with the supernatural. They are usually former law enforcement agents who have encountered the dark side and live to tell the story. SCU agents are trained to identify and investigate cases to determine the cause, and to neutralize the threat, keep it secret from the public. But there is a huge human cost in dealing with the evil. The show focuses on four SCU agents and explore their thankless job and its impact on them.

 | Detective Esther Luttrell: A seasoned SCU detective, Detective Luttrell struggles to keep a leveled head and sanity in various encounter with the other world. Motivation: Community - Someone need to keep the city safe. Supernatural connection: Detective Luttrell has several near death experience and this brought her closer to the spirit world than she thought. However, the actual reason of transfer was kept from her. |
 | Detective Rosie Aybar is a new recruit to SCU and partnered with Detective Luttrell. Young and energetic, her enthusiasm leads her into danger. Motivation: Approval - I want to make someone proud. Supernatural connection: Detective Aybar once discovered a vampire serial killer. She survived the encounter and killed the vampire. But to cover it up, she was transferred to the unit. |
 | Detective Jun Ku: As a former police detective, he had a shining record but the superiors thought he got too personal. Thus they recommend him to SCU to get rid of him. Motivation: Revenge - I will find the one who murdered my father. Supernatural connection: Detective Ku 's father was killed when he was young and the case remained unsolved. It inspired him to join the service. He was unaware that there was a supernatural cause to it. |
 | Detective Fukusaku Kumiko: A computer specialist, she is partnered with Detective Ku and often have conflict over the methods of solving case. Motivation: Atonement - I have lost my partner once. I won't let it happen again. Supernatural connection: Detective Fukusaku lost her partner in a supernatural attack and is still affected by it. |
