snowynightRecently finished: I have just finished Guardian by Priest, which is a BL Cnovel set in a modern fantasy setting. The main protagonist is a government agent who solves crime involving the supernatural. He gets attracted to a shy and gentle professor during an investigation. I really like the integration of Chinese mythology with the plot, which has a lot of surprise. Both characters have a lot of hidden depth and secrets, and their relationship is very convincing.
Currently Reading: As I am still following the dark and brutal Silt Verses, I am re-reading Winnie the pooh for something lighthearted. It's as charming as I have remembered. I haven't noticed that Winnie the Pooh was called an Edward Bear in the earlier stories and I wonder what I have missed.
