Top 5 Chinese BL Web Novel Authors I Love

snowynight I am an avid reader of Chinese BL web novels. There are a lot of talented writers, but I have a number of favourite.
Xi Zixu: A very imaginative writer who writer a wide variety of plot, from infinity quest, rebirth, quick transmigration and apocalyptic survival. Her work could be dark like Turns Out I’m Crazy, in which an abuser is reborn as his victim, but she also wrote more lighthearted stories like Cherry Blossoms Upon a Wintry Sword
Cyan Wings: She is very good at plotty romance and her writing is very smooth. Her protagonists are often competent and lovable. My favourite: High Energy QR Code (infinity quest), Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know (The protagonist one day discovers that he lives in two novels with very different perspectives), Mr. Melancholy Wants to Live a Peaceful Life (Retired infinity quest player has to fight again with identity porn)
Mu Suli: While relatively less prolific, she is really great at plot and touching romance. Panguan is one of the best horror urban fantasy novel I have read, and Global Examination is a great infinity quest novel despite the name.
Jiang Zi Bei: She is really good at writing lighthearted comedy. She is better known for I Can Do It (esport), PUBG Online Romance of the Century (moba streaming), but her other works are good too.
Jiao Tang Dong Gua: She is really good at writing exciting Hollywood action plot and aloof but competent and charismatic male lead. My favourite: Could You Not Tease Me? (Formula racing) and Thrive in Catastrophe (post-apocalyptic thriller). Her m/f romance about haute cuisine The Heartbeat at the Tip of the Tongue is very good too.
