The public bus service in the city is cheap and efficient. Follow these tips for an enjoyable journey.
1. The bus service runs from 6 am to midnight. If you see buses in service outside the hours, don't get on those buses, even when you see people getting into them.
2. You have to pay exact changes in coins. If the bus drivers offer to exchange the money, say "no" politely and take another bus (with the exact fare of course). This is for your safety.
3. Important: don't collect fare from other passengers. If anyone does this on your bus, close your eyes and don't respond until the sound died down.
4. Hold onto the railings all the time when the bus is moving. The bus driver won't wait for you. Yeah, even when you're sitting.
5. You should board the bus from the door on the front and take off from the door in the middle. Remember: there're only 2 doors in the bus. If you see a third door, don't take the bus and wait until you no longer see it.
6. No pets are allowed except for guides dogs for blind people. If a dog keeps barking, don't take the empty seat or stand where it barks at.
7. If you get on the bus from the third door, avoid catching the bus driver's attention as only they are authorized to remove you from the buses.
8. If you feel a light electric shock from holding onto the railing, ask passengers nearby for any coins, especially those with a figure on their back.
9. Be considerate to dogs.
10. Double check if the seats are vacant. Remember that you can't see everyone on the bus.
