Challenge #14: Try something new

There's a 24-word RPG jam for writing a tabletop rpg/larp in 24 words. I'm fascinated by the idea of using so few words for a playable game. Here's my first attempt in writing a tabletop RPG, because tabletop RPG is kind of a fandom too.

"You play a ghost. Who or what chains you to the living? Write and cross them out when you let them go, or not."

"Try something new" sure makes for an interesting prompt. I like the ghost idea and its "who or what" chains the ghost to the land of the living.

That doesn't give you much to think about in terms of mechanics, but it does sound like a fun challenge to provide a capsule summary of what you want.

There's really not much space for mechanics, but they are fun exercises for creativity.

That is such an interesting challenge! And I'd absolutely love to play your ghost game. I can see it being a colab story-telling focused kind of game 🩵
