|◎我等燕归来 文/ 枕上霜|
|◎Waiting for my swallows to return|
The instant you come，the spring starts to flower.
The instant you come, I am
In full bloom.
Each floral bursting is bound to startle the moonlight.
The lake water, at its resuscitation, consumes a houseful of darkness. Now
The swallows have their tails cut by the third month, so that
None of us can see them. Since then
I prefer to put on peach-petal makeup, dink peach blossom wine, and
A vacant bed is tagged with an amulet about the former world.
Time and light revives in water. A female is gradually
Sinking into a poem. I have to put out the cards in hand
To show the countenance of springtime. I’ll consult ultimately with you.
In that way, l consent you to flying southward.
You should allow me to eat snow, and write poetry. I should get your permission
And use tree leaves as wings to fly over the lowermost rivers.
