Ingredients (1 serving):
2 leaves Cabbage
1 slice Ham
1 slice Cheese
1 Your preferred filling
5 tbsp *Plain flour
3 tbsp *Water
1 tsp *Dashi stock granules
1 *Egg
1 tbsp *Mayonnaise
1/4 tsp * Baking powder (optional - to make the okonomiyaki fluffy)
1 as much (to taste) Bonito flakes and aonori seaweed
1 as much (to taste) Your preferred sauce and mayonnaise
Steps
- Place the torn up cabbage on a slightly deep plate, cover with plastic wrap and then microwave for 1 minutes. (I like wilted cabbage, but you don't have to microwave it.)
- Add the * ingredients and then mix well! (You will add the mayonnaise and sauce later).
- Tear up your desired amount of ham and cheese and then place it on top. Gently cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3-4 minutes at 700 W. Test if it's ready with a toothpick.
- Add your favorite toppings such as okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, aonori seaweed, and it's done.
- If you want to take it out of the plate, put parchment paper or plastic wrap down first to make it easier.
