Ingredients (1 serving):
2 leaves Cabbage
1 slice Ham
1 slice Cheese
1 Your preferred filling
5 tbsp *Plain flour
3 tbsp *Water
1 tsp *Dashi stock granules
1 *Egg
1 tbsp *Mayonnaise
1/4 tsp * Baking powder (optional - to make the okonomiyaki fluffy)
1 as much (to taste) Bonito flakes and aonori seaweed
1 as much (to taste) Your preferred sauce and mayonnaise

Steps

  1. Place the torn up cabbage on a slightly deep plate, cover with plastic wrap and then microwave for 1 minutes. (I like wilted cabbage, but you don't have to microwave it.)
  2. Add the * ingredients and then mix well! (You will add the mayonnaise and sauce later).
  3. Tear up your desired amount of ham and cheese and then place it on top. Gently cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 3-4 minutes at 700 W. Test if it's ready with a toothpick.
  4. Add your favorite toppings such as okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes, aonori seaweed, and it's done.
  5. If you want to take it out of the plate, put parchment paper or plastic wrap down first to make it easier.

Huh. Interesting. I've always fried it, but I can see how that would work.
